College radio station 91.1 WSAJ-FM will re-broadcast the annual Christmas Candlelight Service from Dec. 10 in Harbison Chapel at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24. The service features the Grove City College Touring Choir under the direction of Dr. Katherine Mueller and the sermon “The Indescribable Gift” by F. Stanley Keehlwetter, dean of the Chapel. Vocal students kick off a week of Christmas Concerts at Carnegie Alumni Center, showcasing student talent, community engagement, and music of this blessed season. Concerts begin at 12:15 p.m. each day this week.
The College’s annual student-choreographed Orchesis dance show runs Nov. 30 to Dec. 2 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, Friday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 2, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Admission is free, but tickets are required.
