At Grove City College, athletic excellence is more than a tradition—it's a commitment. Impact 150: The Anniversary Campaign for Grove City College has a strong focus on athletic initiatives, ensuring that the values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship continue to thrive at Grove City College. By investing in state-of-the-art facilities, top-tier coaching, and enriching student-athlete experiences, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Our Vision

A multi-use, state-of-the-art fieldhouse on lower campus ensures that the growing number of varsity athletes attracted to the College’s distinct Christ-centered athletic culture are equipped to compete at their highest level.

Equally important, a new fieldhouse alleviates overcrowding the fitness center shared by all students, enables women’s lacrosse to have a dedicated locker room in the Phillips Fieldhouse, and provides a new home to the increasingly indomitable football, men’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s tennis teams.

Project Overview

A lower campus fieldhouse gives all varsity athletes a facility worthy of the excellence they represent. Key features include:

• Light-filled, multi-purpose training spaces

• Locker rooms for football, men’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s tennis, coaching offices, and conference spaces

• On-site technologies essential for athletic skill-building and competitive strategies

• Year-round access to large, well-equipped strength training and conditioning facilities

• State-of-the-art sports medicine rooms and team meeting spaces

Expanding Performance.
A New McNulty Athletic Center.

Our Vision

The new McNulty Athletic Center will be a permanent indoor facility with an inflated dome roof. With varsity athletics growing, current facilities face increasing demands. The MAC will ease congestion, improve accessibility, and elevate the student experience, ensuring top-tier spaces for both competition and community engagement.

The 50,000-square-foot McNulty Athletic Center will include an indoor track as well as a rubberized surface that will be highly durable and provide flexibility for multiple sports teams as well as other events throughout the year.

Project Overview

The MAC will help alleviate pressure on the PLC and return the IM room to its intended use for all students. Key features include:

• Five-lane running track (200m)

• Space for tennis courts and other recreational equipment, such as portable basketball hoops and pickleball

• Integrated weight training and strength and conditioning equipment in the corners of the track

• Venue for indoor commencement or other events

To build on this legacy and provide our athletes with the best possible environment to train and compete, we are committed to creating the new William C. Stewart Baseball Field, a state-of-the-art facility that will elevate the game for generations to come.

This project is more than just an upgrade—it’s an investment in the future of Grove City baseball, ensuring that our players have the resources they need to succeed at the highest level. By relocating and revitalizing the field, we will establish a premier facility that reflects our dedication to growth, competition, and the enduring spirit of the game.

• Turf for the infield and outfield, minimizing maintenance by the College
  

• Space for expanded parking and future seating

• Lighting that enables GCC to host NCAA regional games, enhancing the College’s regional profile
